The Corrosion and Coating Evaluation System (CorRES) incorporates multimodal measurements using advanced, low cost sensors and monitoring techniques to improve materials evaluation in accelerated laboratory corrosion and service environments.  The modular, open architecture system design for this technology supports the continuous multimodal sensing of environmental parameters, corrosion, coating performance, and material residual strength throughout a corrosion test.  The system is hardened for accelerated chamber or outdoor use, and can be operated autonomously or using a connected laptop computer running the CorRES software.  Data is collected using a wired RS-485 interface.
